My name is Kelly, I am married, I have 4 boys and our family dog Bella.
I have always been a huge dog lover and have grew up with dogs.
When I was 21 we got our golden Labrador Marley who we sadly lost in 2023, he was just short of 14 years old and the most wonderful family dog.
We then got our Fox Red Labrador Bella and she wasn’t your typical “greedy” Labrador, we struggled to find a food that agreed with her and she would actually finish. We managed to get her settled and thriving on raw food.
This led me to doing a lot of research into canine nutrition and enrichment and realising how poor the nutritional value of so many “treats” I had bought in the past from shops.
The Ginger Dog launched in late 2024, with the hope of offering people a healthier alternative treat to give their dogs.

Our Lauch
The Ginger Dog was launched in late 2024 after I had seen the benefits these made to Bella’s diet. From being a small puppy with that natural urge to chew and the mental stimulation it gave her.
Along with a shinier coat, better digestion, fantastic dental hygiene and the satisfaction it gave me knowing she was eating something with no additives or preservatives-just 100% protein!
I want more people to know there are alternative treats & chews out there that their dogs will just love! I am always happy to chat and advise best I can to suit any dog, any breed, any size with any dietary requirements or allergies.
